Flat Earth Guitars is located in Anderson, South Carolina, setting
for  the movie "Radio." Yes, Radio still attends T.L. Hanna High
School as its oldest 11th grader. My two teenage girls see him
nearly every day, socializing with kids in the hallway.

Anderson is also a filming location for the new George
Clooney-directed film "Leatherheads," which is still in production.

Flat Earth Guitar Features

Flat Earth Guitars  are a  logical convergence of classic
solidbody designs from the 1950's through today. Look closely at
the Flat Earth Classic to discover:

1. A body profile with design cues found om the original
solidbody guitar design of Merl Travis & Paul Bigsby from 1947.

2. A single cutaway carved top with the sexy curves of a 1954
Gibson Les Paul.

3. An industry-standard bolt-on neck design, proven on the
Fender Stratocaster.

4. Debossed volume and tone controls, excellent balance, and
short-profile headstock of the Paul Reed Smith Standard 22.

5. Select tonewoods used throughout the history of Rock & Roll;
Alder, Swamp Ash, Mahogany, and Maple combine to tailor the
tone to each player. Exotic woods available by request.

6. Unlike the classic designs, the Flat Earth Classic Guitar has
both a carved top and back for extreme comfort, lighter weight,
and extreme esthetics.

7. Hardware is top-notch, with player-selected parts from Tone
Pros, Schaller, Grover, Seymour Duncan, Gibson, Kent
Armstrong, Bigsby and others.

8. Digital tools and milling processes guarantee the tightest
tolerances in the industry...every aspect of Flat Earth Guitars
has been considered and designed for good reason...from the
electronics cavity, neck joint, string path, and every contour.
